Terms of Service

Looks4Real operates a marketplace and booking platform in the Netherlands that connects customers with independent beauty, grooming, and related personal-care professionals and studios.

"Looks4Real", "we", "us", or "our" means the operator of the Platform.

"Customer" means a person who uses the Platform to discover, request, or book services.

"Professional" means an independent service provider who registers on the Platform to offer services under their own name or business.

"Studio" means a business location or team profile on the Platform that may represent one or more Professionals.

"Booking" means a service appointment arranged through the Platform between a Customer and a Professional or Studio.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract under applicable law to use the Platform as a Customer, Professional, or Studio representative.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining access to your sign-in method (including email one-time password authentication) and for activity under your account.

The Platform lets Customers discover Professionals and Studios, view published services, prices, portfolios, and availability, and request or confirm Bookings where offered.

Looks4Real facilitates discovery, scheduling, communications related to Bookings, and payment processing where enabled. We do not guarantee the availability of any Professional, Studio, time slot, or service.

Unless clearly labelled as a Looks4Real-owned service, every service is delivered by an independent Professional or Studio. The contract for the service is between the Customer and that Professional or Studio. Looks4Real is a commercial intermediary, not a party to that service contract.

Professionals and Studios set their own service descriptions, durations, and menu prices. Looks4Real does not set Professional prices except where we expressly run a promotion and state that in the Platform.

You may register using email and one-time password (OTP) authentication or other sign-in methods we support. One person may not maintain more than one account for deceptive or abusive purposes.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or our policies, or that pose risk to users or the Platform.

When you submit a booking request, the Professional or Studio may accept, decline, or propose changes according to their schedule and policies shown in the Platform.

Customers agree to attend at the agreed time, provide accurate visit details where required, and treat Professionals with respect.

Repeated no-shows, harassment, or unsafe conduct may result in account suspension and reporting to authorities where appropriate.

Professionals and Studios may join the Platform without a join fee. They set their menu prices and receive 100% of the menu price they list for a booked service.

Where in-app payment is enabled, Customers pay the Professional's listed menu price plus a 6% Looks4Real processing fee shown at checkout before payment. The processing fee is part of the Customer's total payment; it is not deducted from the Professional's listed menu price.

Payments are processed in euro (EUR) through Mollie or another payment partner we designate where in-app payment is available.

Before receiving payouts, Professionals may need to complete bank or payout verification steps required by Looks4Real or our payment partners.

You are responsible for any mobile data, bank, or third-party charges from your financial institution.

Cancellation rules depend on booking status and policies communicated in the Platform. Unpaid booking requests may be cancelled before confirmation where the Platform allows it.

When a paid booking is cancelled in accordance with applicable Platform rules, a refund may be processed through our payment partner where technically possible. Refunds are not automatic in every situation and may depend on booking status, timing, and payment partner rules.

Payments may be settled after a service according to Platform rules. Looks4Real may review reported booking issues and take action where appropriate, but we do not guarantee a particular outcome, refund, or resolution.

Chargebacks must be raised in good faith. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may lead to account closure.

"User Content" means text, photos, videos, reviews, profile images, chat attachments, and other material you submit through the Platform.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant Looks4Real a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, display, and distribute your User Content to operate and improve the Platform for as long as the content remains available, unless you delete it or we remove it sooner.

You represent that you own or control the rights in your User Content, that it is accurate and lawful, and that you have obtained any required consent from people identifiable in photos.

Do not upload illegal, harassing, deceptive, or infringing material. We may remove User Content and suspend accounts where we reasonably believe a violation has occurred.

Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. Looks4Real is not obligated to publish or keep any User Content.

If you register as a Professional or Studio, additional onboarding requirements may apply. You represent that your listings are accurate and that you hold any licences, permits, or qualifications required for your services under applicable law.

Professionals and Studios must honour confirmed Bookings, maintain professional standards, and comply with tax and consumer obligations applicable to their business.

The Platform, Looks4Real name, logos, and software are owned by Looks4Real or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or misuse our brand except as allowed by these Terms.

Professional portfolios and marks remain the property of their respective owners.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR LEGALITY OF SERVICES PERFORMED BY PROFESSIONALS OR STUDIOS. CUSTOMERS USE THOSE SERVICES AT THEIR OWN RISK SUBJECT TO MANDATORY RIGHTS UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY DUTCH LAW, LOOKS4REAL AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY SERVICE DELIVERED BY A PROFESSIONAL OR STUDIO.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID TO LOOKS4REAL IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT OR (B) ONE HUNDRED EURO (€100), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

You agree to indemnify and hold Looks4Real harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, or dispute with another user, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

You may delete your account in the app under Profile → Settings → Delete account, or by emailing support@looks4real.com from your registered email.

Deletion is permanent. We will remove or anonymise personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to retention needed for legal obligations or legitimate business purposes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. The courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your place of residence.

Before formal proceedings, contact support@looks4real.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version on the Platform with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes may be notified by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
