Looks4Real is the data controller for personal data processed through the Platform, except where a Professional or Studio processes your data as an independent business when delivering a service.

Account data: email address, name, profile information, role (customer or professional), and sign-in activity related to email OTP authentication.

Professional and Studio profile data: business or display name, bio, category, service area, portfolio images, listed services and prices, working hours, and payout or bank details you submit for receiving payments.

Booking data: selected services, appointment times, visit details you provide, booking status, and related notes or messages.

Payment data: transaction amounts, references, and payment status. Full payment card numbers are processed by Mollie; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

User content: photos, reviews, chat messages, and other material you upload or send through the Platform.

Support communications: messages you send to support@looks4real.com or through in-app support channels.

Technical and security data: device and browser information, IP address, error and diagnostic logs, and events needed to secure and operate the Platform.

Language preference: the looks4real_locale cookie on our website, set from your browser language or when you switch language.

To create and secure your account, including email OTP authentication.

To display relevant Professionals, Studios, and services.

To process bookings, payments, cancellations, and customer support.

To send transactional messages such as booking confirmations, reminders, and security alerts.

To operate portfolios, reviews, and discovery features on the Platform.

To maintain security, prevent misuse, enforce our Terms, and improve the Platform.

To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

With your consent where required by law, for optional marketing. You may opt out of marketing at any time.

We process personal data on one or more of the following grounds: performance of a contract (account and bookings), legitimate interests (security, product operation, and improvement), legal obligation, and consent where applicable (for example optional marketing).

Professionals and Studios: when you book, we share information needed to perform the service, such as your name, contact details, and visit information.

Service providers: hosting and database services (Supabase), payment processing (Mollie), email delivery, and support tools bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms.

Other Platform users: public profile information, portfolio images, and reviews may be visible to other users according to Platform settings.

Legal and safety: we may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect users, Professionals, Studios, or the public.

Business transfers: if Looks4Real is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, data may transfer subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal data.

Our infrastructure providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent measures required by applicable law.

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and to meet legal obligations.

When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise personal data unless retention is required for legal compliance, dispute handling, security, or similar legitimate purposes.

We use measures such as encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and database access rules designed to protect personal data.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Use a secure email account and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Subject to Dutch and EU law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

To exercise your rights, use in-app profile settings where available or email support@looks4real.com from your registered email.

You may lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP) if you believe your rights have been violated.

You can permanently delete your account in the app under Profile → Settings → Delete account where available.

Deletion cannot be undone. Export any information you need before deleting.

If you cannot access the app, email support@looks4real.com from your registered email with the subject "Account deletion request".

The Platform is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact support@looks4real.com if you believe a child has provided data and we will take appropriate steps.

Our website uses the looks4real_locale cookie to remember your language preference. When you sign in on the website, Supabase may set session cookies needed for authentication.

We do not currently load third-party marketing or analytics scripts on the website. The mobile apps may use local storage for sign-in sessions and UI preferences.

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date will change and material updates may be communicated in the Platform or by email. Please review this Policy periodically.
